Forecasting Stock Prices and Constructing an Optimal Portfolio using Prophet

This investigative project attempts the construction of an optimal portfolio by using stock price forecasting and portfolio rebalancing methodologies with the help of Prophet, a predictive open-source instrument developed by Meta.

Pixel Piano

FEB 2023 - FEB 2023
​Inspired by the elegance and art of learning how to play the piano, we created a one-octave piano visualizer for beginners to learn creatively using a display screen and an LED matrix. This project was eventually showcased and presented to judges from Qualcomm at the University of Toronto for their MakeUofT 2023 hackathon event.

Machine Learning in Healthcare: Medical Image Segmentation

AUG 2022 - DEC 2022
This research project looks into and improves image segmentation algorithms (MONAI and MedISeg) through paper reviews and experiments. The algorithms were extensively tested with various medical image datasets (WORD, CoNIC-22, KiTS-19), and their segmentation metrics were compared and evaluated accordingly.
